We are getting very excited at PTS HQ at the prospect of our first ever National Stamp Celebration Day!

National Stamp Celebration Day is an incentive being run by The PTS to celebrate the World’s birthplace of the postage stamp and to encourage more people to put down their franking machines and start using more stamps on envelopes as well. The event is being held in London at The Royal Philatelic Society which is usually a members only building but on 4 May from 10am – 4pm will open its doors to the public wishing to learn more about stamps and their collections. A team of philatelists will be on hand to answer any questions, as well as other activities going on throughout the day.
RSVP essential – to Address: 41 Devonshire Place London W1G 6JY
Times: 10-4pm
RSVP: Please RSVP to Adminmanager@rpsl.org.uk –  Secretary of The Royal Philatelic Society London to secure a place
On our social media platforms, we are using the hashtags #stickastamp and #celebratestamps17 and would ask that any posts include this. You can follow us from the PTS website Hompepage (click on the icons at the top).
Buckingham Covers (PTS Members) have printed some special stickers which can be used to stick on outgoing mailings along with colourful arrays of stamps. You can contact them directly here: Brian.Austin@buckinghamcovers.com and they will gladly send you some.
Rushstamps (PTS Members) also have starter packs of postage. You can contact them here: enquiries@rushstamps.co.uk
